Red Panda

Red pandas are nocturnal and crepuscular, being most active at dawn, dusk, and night, and are polyphasic, sleeping at multiple times throughout the day.

Captive red pandas are nocturnal and crepuscular and exhibit a polyphasic activity pattern throughout the night. Activity patterns change throughout the year in response to temperature, feeding regimes, and presence of young.

In the wild, red pandas are reported to be most active at dawn, dusk, and at night.
