White rhinos can run at speeds of 24 kilometers per hour, and can reach up to 40 kilometers per hour for short periods of time.
A common behavior of white rhinos is the way they respond to predators, such as lion (Panthera leo) attacks. For example, all white rhinos run with their hind feet continuously striking the ground and their forefeet following the direction of the way other rhinos are running during the flight.
