Tasmanian devils usually amble slowly with a characteristic gait but can gallop quickly with both hind feet together.

Tasmanian devils usually amble slowly with a characteristic gait but can gallop quickly with both hind feet together. They tend to forage with a slow, lumbering manner using their sense of smell to find food at night. Young Tasmanian devils are more agile, however, and can climb trees.
