Female Tasmanian devils are slightly smaller than males.
Large males may reach 12 kilograms and 30 centimeters at the shoulder. Their total length ranges from 525 to 800 millimeters and their tail length ranges from 230-300 millimeters. Male weight ranges from 5.5 to 12 kilograms and female weight from 4.1 to 8.1 kilograms.
