Curl-Crested Araçari

Both sexes of the curl-crested araçari measure 40-46 cm. (16-18 in.) long and weigh 164-280 g. (6-10 oz.), but females have shorter bills.
The curl-crested araçari is smaller than most toucans and measures 40-46 centimeters, or 16-18 inches long, and weighs 164-280 grams, or 6-10 ounces. It is tied with the black-necked araçari (Pteroglossus aracari) as the second largest araçari after the chestnut-eared araçari (Pteroglossus castanotis).
Both sexes are alike, but females have shorter bills.
