Southern Grasshopper Mouse

Southern grasshopper mice are cannibalistic and will kill other members of their species when threatened or in need of food.

Southern grasshopper mice often commit acts of cannibalism, killing and eating other members of their species if they are threatened or in need of food.

They often live solitarily because otherwise, one of the individuals inevitably kills the other.
