European Mink

The European mink has a short tail that makes up about 40% of its total body length.

The European mink has a greatly elongated body with short limbs, and a short tail.

The European mink’s tail is shorter than that of the American mink (Neovison vison) and constitutes about 40% of the animal’s total body length. Tail length is 15.3–19 centimeters (6–7.5 inches) in males and 15–18 centimeters (5.9–7.1 inches) in females.
