Bearded Vulture (Gypaetus barbatus)

It’s May 1st, which marks FaunaFocus’ 1-Year Anniversary! This month, FaunaFocus will feature the bearded vulture.

This extremely large, bearded bird has a wide range across Africa, Asia, and Europe, and is listed as “Near Threatened” by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
