October 2018: Hawksbill Turtle

Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata)

For the month of October 2018, FaunaFocus will once again be collaborating with the Word Wildlife Fund (WWF) and will be featuring another sea turtle, the hawksbill turtle. This migratory species faces many threats and is listed as “Critically Endangered” on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
