Hawksbill Turtle

Humans have become the hawksbill turtle’s major predator by eating the turtle and its eggs, as well as illegally hunting them to sell their scutes.

There are no known adverse affects of the hawksbill turtle on humans, however, humans continue to harm these sea turtles and have become their major predator.

Although currently illegal throughout the world, humans have hunted the hawksbill turtle for years in order to sell and trade its scutes.
