FaunaFocus is starting off 2019 by featuring the Tasmanian devil, the largest, native, mammalian predator on Tasmania and the world’s largest carnivorous marsupial, for the month of January 2019. This nocturnal marsupial is listed as “Endangered” on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
