Free-For-All: Annamite Striped Rabbit

FFA

The elusive Annamite striped rabbit has only been seen a handful of times…Is it possible that the mythical jackalope is among their kind?

The FaunaFocus Free-For-All is an art competition that is open to all and is intended to foster community-based learning while celebrating successes and encouraging artists to improve from discipline and criteria.

April 2021’s Free-For-All featured the Annamite striped rabbit.

Due to the Annamite striped rabbit’s elusive nature, Vetrina Nicole Art used a digital medium to depict the lagomorph as a jackalope. Bathed in moonlight, Vetrina’s composition captured the rabbit’s nocturnal lifestyle with a monochromatic color palette of various shades of blue.
