The common palm civet, also known as the Asian palm civet or toddy cat is the most common of the civet species and resides in Asia. Not much is known about this civet’s behaviors as it’s shy, nocturnal, and arboreal, leading it to hide amongst the trees at night to evade predators. With numerous subspecies categorized within this species, the common palm civet can have a multitude of different appearances and variations.
