Free-For-All: Green Turtle
TheMissFox painted an impressive illustration of a green turtle amidst a sea of greens and blues. Mostly depicted in cool colors, the turtle is composed within the sea amongst heavily textured coral and vegetation. Slight accents of yellows and browns allow for warm tones to complement the color scheme and create a harmonious painting altogether.

Claire's watercolor composition displayed a complimentary purple and yellow color scheme that highlighted the plight of the white rhino. It invoked emotion within its creative and original elements.

Inspired by the words of writer, Julio Cortazar, Draws with Kitties painted an incredible depiction of an axolotl in a science-fiction scene. Primarily drawn with Copic markers, this complicated composition radiates with a multitude of colors and draws the viewer in with a sense of wonder and mystique.

Free-For-All: Red Panda
Claire's serene and whimsical piece brought out all the positive traits of the red panda through harmonious, deliberate visual language. This traditional piece was painted with watercolor and utilized swirling brushstrokes to create a unified composition that emphasized the omnivore's markings.

Sofera took on the challenge of painting with watercolors for the first time in a while and depicted a family pod of vaquita swimming through the gulf. Sofera used a watery medium to emphasize the aquatic habitat of the vaquita and utilized cool colors to unify the composition.

Zoe’s traditional composition was well-constructed with contrasting elements that came together to create an interesting composition. A sense of duality was created as the ocellated turkey was drawn in full-frame in the foreground using a monochromatic color scheme contrasting with a close-up of the bird’s colorful feathers painted in the full chroma of shades.
